Levi Ware

Levi Ware has established himself as an accomplished songwriter, collaborator and musician with a style all his own hovering somewhere between Triple A, Rock and Indie.

Formerly of the band Vast Capital, Levi Ware first gained national attention with VCs title track “What More Else” spending several weeks in the top 50 and 18 weeks in the top 200 on AAA radio earning opening slots for artists such as Pearl Jam, Flight to Mars, The Posies, The Spin Doctors, Quasi Nada, Heart, and Mike Doughty to name a few.

Levi has since independently released two albums (Level Yourself, Listen Mr.) with Producer Engineer Neal Cappellino (Alison Kraus, Mindy Smith, Nickel Creek, Dolly Parton etc.) and toured throughout the US with return stints to Europe. In 2011 Levi opened for Train at the House of Blues on Sunset Strip.

In 2011 Levi and his wife Stephanie founded a 501(C)3 non-profit called the Melodic Caring Project (MCP) who’s mission is to support and encourage hospitalized kids through live music. MCP does this by filming live concerts and streaming them, live, to kids in their hospital rooms. MCP has worked with artists such as: Jason Mraz, Graham, Nash, Rachel Platten, Daughtry, Selena Gomez, Alabama Shakes, Neon Trees, The Black Eyed Peas, Switchfoot, NEEDTOBREATHE, Brandi Carlile, OK GO, Allen Stone, Michael Franti, Brett Dennen, Soja, G Love, Donavon Frankenreiter, Tyrone Wells and hundreds more.

The Melodic Caring Project is not only striking a chord with the kids and families participating but with the community and media as well. Already they have shared the incredible work MCP is doing to a potential of over 10,000,000 viewers across 4 media platforms.
Since it’s inception the Melodic Caring Project has garnered some great regional and national press including: FOX 11 NEWS LA, PBS WHYY, Evening Magazine, AXS TV, Success Magazine, MSNBC, King5 New Day NW, Q13 FOX NEWS, KIRO 7 NEWS, KOMO 4 News as well as a piece which aired on CNN Headline News via Comcast Newsmakers.
